Six generations of the Konopacki Family, dispersed throughout the world, met recently to commemorate two important anniversaries, namely the eightieth anniversary of the founding of the factory manufacturing plywood in Mosty (1926-1939) and the fiftieth anniversary of the death of its founder Ignacy Konopacki (1893-1957). Marek Wojewski, grandson of Ignacy Konopacki organised this family gathering, providing us with opportunities to meet his daughter Eva Bonelli and her in-laws ( United States) as well as Magda, daughter of Tadeusz Konopacki (Argentina) and his grand-daughter Maria Alejandra. Enchanting Krakow inspired those present to recollect many family anecdotes and the showing of old photographs recollecting the early days at Fałek and the building of the factory in Mosty. The meeting ended with an impromptu piano recital given by Marysia Gorska, aged 8, great- granddaughter of Antoni Konopacki (1899-1967).
